ARA has provided quality imaging services to Austin and Central Texas since 1954 and are continually working to improve access in the area to first-rate imaging technology. They operate 17 outpatient imaging centers, located throughout Austin and Central Texas, and also provide professional radiology services at 22 area hospitals.
Workhorse helped ARA create a new website presence in 2015 that focused on overall better technical structure and SEO setup, as well as specific locations and services pages. Utilizing that structure and data, we worked together to evolve the site further, focusing on the mobile experience as well, to ensure all patients have the information and access they need for their health.
Our process included a deep dive into ARA’s established brand, the market, current analytics and user behavior. We use this information to define both our creative and technical approaches in order to best meet ARA’s overall goals and objectives.
Analyzing the user behavior of the website over the last 3 years, we were able to take a strategic approach towards a new website design and structure that is better optimized for mobile while keeping their current and future marketing goals in mind.

Since the new site launched in November 2019, we’ve seen an overall increase in users, a nearly 10% increase in sessions, and over a 16% increase in mobile traffic. In addition, with the new website launch and paired with our ongoing marketing efforts, overall global click-to-call conversions have increased by 44%, and overall goal completions increased by nearly 11%.
